Happiness has a focal role

 

As a human happiness is the original ingredient.  Happiness, life and freedom are the soul and void of it one can go for a path of isolation.  In the human context, these are main components to break free from seclusion.  No doubt, that they have become influential in the emergence of modernity. 

With the rise of modern natural sciences, the meaning of these terms strongly changed.  It is found that life is considered to be the context in which happiness, through the means of liberty, can be realized.  It is rightly to be said life is the matrix, liberty is the means and happiness is the end. 

Whenever we are talking about life, it embraces freedom, and it results in the eternal happiness.  But in modern theories, these assumptions are not confined.  Life defined as a physical phenomenon, liberty is deemed to be a subjective illusion and happiness is feeling being in the flow.

As we consider the importance, of both three -- happiness, life and freedom -- freedom is central, because it is the way in which modern individuals conceive themselves and it seems to be more important than life or happiness.  To the modern interpretation reflects freedom in an individual sense. 

As a human being life, happiness and freedom are reflected the fundamental experience of life as movement.

In general the law of life can be described in four ways :

• The life of self-control
• The life of wisdom
• The life of courage
• The health of life

On the other hand, there are also another aspect of life:

• The pleasurable life
• The political life
• Contemplative form

Whilst both human and divine life are considered in the same perspective.  Human life is partial and limited to certain forms of life and the divine life is the life of the master and it has an overarching character where life is unperishable.

It is to be believed ‘the activity of God’ surpasses all the supreme happiness and must be most of the ‘nature of happiness’.  Thus, divine happiness is perfect and human happiness may become assimilated to divine happiness.

Only liberty does not appear to be the core of happiness.  The rule of majority or the freedom to live as one likes is not conductive to happiness.  The perspective of reaching ‘eternal life’ is above everything.  Thus, eternal life becomes something emphatically otherworldly, metaphysical or ultimately theological.

 

It is important to understand the doctrines of human freedom.  It may be free service in the name of the God, is the utmost realization. 

The fundamental notion of freedom is not merely the capacity of free option but rather freedom as originally free expression, manifestation or revelation of something other than what is entailed in freedom itself.

In classical poem ‘The Song of the Bell’ is beautifully described the freedom as destruction and freedom as creation.

The question of the origin of life is yet to find the answer.  The notion of life today overlaps with the notion of intelligent machines, such as computers, which are capable of producing symptoms similar to the symptoms of living organism. 

Happiness has become technological, and liberty seems to be identical with satisfying the drive to reach technological happiness. 

With the advent of computers, the description of the human genome, emergence of nanotechnology, and consumption to the use of solar energy, the perspectives that dictates our basic notions – happiness, life and liberty may have revised.  Therefore, it is possible to offer a synthetic understanding of the basic terms both on a historical trajectory and in a logical way. Based on this, we need to identify the whole in which we situate our basic terms. 

In the current context, the notion of happiness, life and freedom are synthesized in such a way that it offers more than a personal satisfaction, fulfillment or liberty.  Moreover, it offers an incomparable whole in which happiness, life and liberty are acknowledged as intrinsic moments of the reality of revelation.

It has been drawn out the notion of happiness, life and freedom and how originality has changed slowly and gradually with the influence of the natural sciences and advent of technology.  In this change, happiness and life become naturalized and liberty received an increasingly individualistic emphasis. 

With the dominance of happiness, life and freedom, is imperative we need to develop the proper understanding of reality in a new way.  The right perspective frame of mind we can elaborate and understand both the importance and the unimportance of such basic terms of happiness, life and liberty.
