Overweight/obesity can lead to a risk of cardiovascular.  It is better to know how to lose weight.  Eating behaviours are determined by several factors. Among them, are intrinsic biology and genetics, experiences with food, intra-personal [beliefs, attitudes, knowledge, aptitudes, and social network], so do environmental factors [food availability and accessibility, social environment, customs, marketing practices, etc].

According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the nutrition message should focus on positive ways to make healthy food choices over time rather than strictly avoiding individual foods.

Can We Prevent School Shootings

Sadly, violence in our schools is a reality of both our present and our past.  Often, the advanced countries have the highest prevalence of incidents, and the United States is on top.  70% of the incidents involved firearms, most often involving a high school.

The obvious question does arise is how to provide safety in school?  The word safe, or its derivatives, seem to appear in most school vision or mission statements. It is important how to adapt to changes to school safety, procedurally and structurally. Read Is there really a God: https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/God%20Exists

In the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the number of deaths was 28.

https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/School%20Shootings

School leaders are constantly striving to stay abreast with the latest methods to protect school personnel and students from extreme violence. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the principal to provide a platform for a safe school environment.

“High profile acts of violence, particularly in schools, can confuse and frighten children who may feel in danger or worry that their friends or loved ones are at risk.”

It is imperative that parents and school personnel can help children feel safe by establishing a sense of normalcy and security and talking with them about their fears.  The National Education Association’s School Crisis Guide should come into fore to prepare, react, and appropriately respond to a crisis so that such incidents do not occur in future.  The final outcomes report should be a driving force on this.

With the news publicity and television evening newscasts covering school shootings, the scares have become a subject of intense national debate. The debate should be objectively oriented rather than only publicity media coverage!

We are in the midst of the 21st century, it is imperative that school leaders need to be cognizant and well-versed about the serious dangers of school violence that are unfortunately a reality of our present.  They need to persist in situational awareness coupled with effective preventative steps that could potentially thwart tragedies on campus. It is vitally important to know what other educational leaders are, and are not, doing in regard to school safety.

Safety should be our first and foremost priority.  We cannot compromise it.  Feeling safe is important and ensuring safety needs to be a reality.

According to Newberry 2012 “parents, teachers, faculty, staff, and administration should continue to assist students in more broadly realizing that violence is not the solution to problems of anger or depression and that anti-violence programs, conflict mediation, and simply speaking with an adult could significantly improve the situation.”

The school administration should be emphasized strongly and clearly that the school climate and culture are moving in the direction of feeling and acting in safer ways.

Preventive measures should be taken, and some standards will be designed based on real-life experiences of educational leaders to strengthen and advance school leadership. The main motto is to effective educational leaders strive for equity of educational opportunity and culturally responsive practices to promote each student’s academic success and well-being.

History of Gun Violence in Schools

It is imperative to gain both a historical context and to understand the current lens through which we are viewing said violence.

Violence in schools is not isolated to the United States. War-torn countries have often had incidents of horrific violence. In July of 2013, the terrorist group Boko Haram murdered 42 pupils at a secondary boarding school in Nigeria [McElroy, 2013].

The first documented United States school shooting termed Pontiac’s Rebellion school massacre which took the lives of the schoolmaster and ten children of the eleven presents occurred on July 26, 1764.  In the 1800s, there were several shootings on school grounds.

From 1900 to1965, though the targeted shootings of the past century continued on school grounds, there are very few reports of mass killings as the three most violent school attacks involved arson or explosives.

The first large-scale mass shooting on a school campus occurred on August 1, 1966, at the University of Texas-Austin where the gunman, aged 25, killed 17 and wounded 31 while shooting from an observation deck. This was the deadliest shooting on a college campus until the incident at Virginia Tech in 2007.

In the late 1980s and into the 90s, large-scale mass shootings on school campuses increased dramatically. On April 20, 1999, twelve students and one teacher were killed, and 21 others were wounded by two 17 and 18-year-old students at Columbine High School.

The 2000s continued the terrible trend of an increase in incidents of gun violence on school campuses.  In April 2007, a 23-year-old killed 32 and wounded 17 in two separate attacks that occurred on the same day.

This shows the prevalence of gun violence on campus.  After the series of incidents, the schools across the United States began doing more to fortify their schools and security.

https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/School%20Shootings

School Attacks Analysis

School shootings can have a tremendous impact on students, parents, teachers, and administrators. A series of such killing incidents in schools get a sense of fear among the students across the nation who are apprehensive about the possibility that the same thing could happen at their school.

Although there has been a rise in the number of school shootings across the nation over the past decade, there has been very limited research aimed at analyzing the characteristics of attempted versus completed school shootings in schools.

Most of the existing research has been conducted in the form of case studies. Although very important findings have come about as a result of the case studies, the increased number of incidents now makes it possible to study larger samples. This makes it possible to utilize quantitative methods to compare and contrast the characteristics of attempted versus completed school shootings [Agnich, 2014].

Perceptibly, these incidents have led to extensive discussion and changes to policy regarding school safety and gun control.  With mass killings within schools, a quantitative comparative analysis could provide additional insight into the traits and characteristics of schools and the individuals who attempt to carry out these incidents.  Also, having armed police/guards at their school during school hours may prevent such violence and it would make the campus safe.

It is the responsibility of the administrators to motivate the students who are in the grip of fear and violence to revise their school’s safety plan, related to an armed intruder or terrorist. Awareness can prompt positive change.

Gun Violence

Every year, more than 30,000 Americans die as a result of gun violence. Researchers conservatively estimate that gun violence costs the American economy at least $229 billion every year, including $8.6 billion in direct expenses such as emergency care [Follman, Lurie, Lee, & West, 2015].

It also reports that 6.9% of students reported being threatened or injured with a weapon on school property one or more times within the 12 months leading up to responding to the survey [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2013]. SCHOOL LEGISLATION

Federal Legislation

Year

Law

Summary

1994

Gun-Free School Zones Act (GFSZA)

A person may not bring a gun in a school zone, which is on campus or within 1000 feet of a school. Exceptions include concealed weapons permit holders, unloaded and locked firearms in a motor vehicle, and those contracted to carry a weapon on campus like a school resource police officer. (Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence 2013)

2002

Gun-Free Schools Act (GFSA)

If a student brings a firearm to school, that student must be expelled for a minimum of one year. This law includes a provision that district leaders may offer written modifications to the policy on a case-by-case basis but must report on all expulsions and modifications annually. Conclusion

Regardless of the reality of current statistics, the bottom line is that the perception of school safety and the care of school personnel and students is paramount. Heightened vigilance, improved procedures, and a vast range of security measures at varying costs will continue to be at the forefront

It is important to understand the difference between the possibility of something happening and the probability that it will affect our school.

With school violence occurring too often and being more well publicized, educational leaders and policymakers might want to have an acute acumen of the deeper implications of school safety.

Closely examining safety policies at every level should be examined by reading research surrounding school violence and safety, and watching violent tragic events unfold in real time in the media, protecting faculty, staff, students, and parents on campus against extreme violence should remain school leaders’ highest priority.  With these immediate steps, we can reduce or eliminate major catastrophes on campus is possible.

The need of the hour is to look out for a strategy which is a more balanced and comprehensive outlook of school climate and safety assessment.

Ideally, school counsellors should have the time to get to know students and to be able to work with students who might become a threat prior to a threat occurring. Counsellors can assist students as they work through normal and difficult phases of life, transitions at home, difficulties making friends, etc.

There is a tremendous need to advocate for change that will ultimately lead to safer schools and a responsive, proactive, intervention-based approach to potential threats.  Everyone must monitor legislation and advocate within our states and nation for what our stakeholders know is in the best interest of children and students.

How world hunger can be solved

Hunger is nothing new to the world, with the beginning of human civilization hunger has existed in the world.

As we are in the midst of 2022, still human being is unable to consume sufficient food to meet basic nutritional needs over a sustained period. Throughout history, hunger has affected nearly every area of the world to some degree. Cases of widespread hunger can be seen in ancient carvings, as well as discussed at length in old writings such as in the bible.

It is evident that hunger has affected the world population over centuries and continues to affect the world globally.  Thus, it is important to note the driving forces behind global hunger. According to the media/news,  global hunger reflects the regions of Asia and African countries and parts of India, where high degrees of hunger are still prevalent. Read Human Waste: https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/Human%20Waste

https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/Global%20Hunger

Hunger is a social problem. The pertinent question does arise as to how or why hunger exists to such a degree in certain areas of the world and exists much less in other areas.  Surprisingly, when the world produces more than enough food on a continuous basis to feed the entire global population of 7 billion human beings, why does approximately 12% of the planet go hungry each day? Globally, plenty of food is already being produced as well as a large capacity to expand food production and efficiency, then the obvious question how can hunger exist?  According to McMichael, Philip, the answer is that there is simply no single contributor or driver of hunger in the world.

It has been estimated that the number of people in the world affected by hunger increased in 2020 under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Causes of Global Hunger

If you look at certain areas of the world, one major driver of hunger is the “poverty trap.”  We should understand the concept of the poverty trap and how it works.  The poverty trap is a difficult cycle that people living in poverty often fall into. Because people are living with limited means, they must be highly selective with the use of their resources.

It means, these individuals purchase the cheapest possible food for themselves and their families. Cheaper food items tend to be less nutritious and healthy than more expensive food items. As individuals with limited means are only able to purchase less healthy foods, the individuals can be more susceptible to health issues and can become weaker than individuals with more resources. The lack of nutrition then often results in less healthy individuals, causing them to stay in poverty. This cycle of hunger and poverty continues, resulting in the poverty trap.

The poverty trap is a driver of hunger not only in underdeveloped countries but also to a high degree in developed countries such as the United States and areas of Europe. Particularly susceptible to the poverty trap are children of low-income parents who cannot afford to provide healthy foods for their children. Consuming unhealthy meals on a continuous basis tends to result in children underperforming in school and they are mental, physiological and physically weak, eventually leading to low-paying jobs and limited resources in the future.

A lack of infrastructure is a second driver of global hunger, which is mostly seen in developing countries.  Countries with fragmented or poor infrastructure are also often found to have high levels of hunger. Mostly some countries in Asia and Africa lack basic infrastructures, such as paved roads, public transportation, and running water. Such a lack of infrastructure has a negative effect on the regional economy and limits the transportation of goods and individuals.  It is common that a lack of irrigation and running water can significantly reduce agricultural yields, and a working system of roads can limit the movement of any agriculture across an area. Read- Is there really a God:https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/God%20Exists

According to the United Nations, [2014] investments in agriculture in countries with high degrees of hunger are five times more effective in reducing poverty and hunger than investment in any other sector of the economy.

A third contributor to hunger is the climate and the weather. Drought is reported to be one of the most common causes of food shortages in the world. Significant weather events, such as floods, large storms, and drought can result in the destruction of local crops and can seriously affect local economies. Prolonged or repetitive such events have been shown to result in hunger around the world. Recurring drought in the African countries of Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya has resulted in widespread crop failures and large livestock losses in the countries.

Today, these countries have some of the highest rates of hunger in the world, given their high dependency on crops and livestock for food. Some weather events, such as cyclones, tornados, and floods can result in shorter- term hunger, while events such as droughts can result in hunger without an end in sight.

Unstable food market condition is an emerging fourth driver of hunger in the world.  The main concern is demand and supply of food around the world can have significant and immediate impacts on the prices of all food items around the world.

https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/Global%20Hunger

Major commodities such as corn, soybeans, and wheat have experienced extreme volatility over the past decade, resulting in many poor countries being unable to afford even the most basic food items. When prices dramatically increase, as they have over the past decade, the poor may be simply unable to purchase certain foods. As food prices rise, the poor are forced to purchase foods with less and less nutritional value. This shift results in less healthy individuals who become weak and unable to afford nutritious foods, similar to the poverty trap, that we are referred to.

Multitude of factors

  • Global hunger is caused by several factors like:
  • cyclical poverty
  • lack of infrastructure investment
  • weather events
  • volatile food markets
  • inequality
  • lack of education
  • overpopulation

On a global scale, these drivers of global hunger truly occur, affecting every area of the world to some degree.

According to McMichael, Philip, July 2009, the studies show that today over 1.2 billion people live in extreme poverty on less than $1.25 per day. Of these 1.2 billion individuals in extreme poverty, over 805 million people struggle with hunger on a daily basis. As a direct result of hunger-related causes, over 2.6 million children die each year. These staggering statistics demonstrate the gravity of the situation of global hunger and the immense number of individuals that hunger affects every single day.

As per United Nations, 2014, great strides have been made in recent years in addressing global hunger. Since 1990 there has been a reduction in global hunger by approximately 34%. There has been a large effort since 1990 by large global organizations such as the United Nations and the World Food Program to curb rise rates of global hunger. These organizations have dedicated vast resources, both monetary and human, to addressing head-on the drivers of hunger in many countries around the world. These organizations and governments have flooded into developing countries over the past decades offering support in many different areas to improve the lives of the countries’ citizens.

The United Nations reports that global hunger has slowed by a greater percentage during the past decade than during any other period in recorded history, owed much to greater awareness and ability to help through mediums such as social media and the internet in general.

Notable advancements in reducing global hunger have been made around the world in recent history, buy there is still much work to be done. With the capability to produce more than enough food to feed the world over, huge proportions of the global population are still dying of hunger. There is much more that must be done to improve the current situation of global hunger in the world. Read-Designer Herbal Foods:https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/Herbal%20Foods

Hunger Now, 2013, avers, “Feed a man to fish and he will eat for a day, but teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime” this is quite applicable to the type of change that would like to see for global hunger.

We should understand that hunger has substantial economic costs for individuals, families and whole societies.

https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/Global%20Hunger

Conclusion

While analyzing extreme cases of hunger on the planet, the areas that are pertaining to such as unfavourable weather [droughts, floods, typhoons], uneducated populations, weak governments, and poor infrastructure. These are serious issues and take significant events to manage or change.

Everything up to these areas, among others, can be solved and treated, however, hunger will continue to exist if these areas are left unchanged.

As per Bread for the World, 2014, individuals in developed countries need to be proactive and push governments to assist in driving large changes in the aforementioned areas. These changes take significant involvement and can likely only be spurred by other countries and governments.

No doubt, global hunger is a major problem around the world today, affecting hundreds of millions of individuals across all counties. Throughout the past decades, notable improvements have taken place, but  it remains a serious issue with no clear end anywhere in sight.

It is critical that individuals and countries must approach global hunger by focusing on the root causes, instead of solely focusing on alleviating the negative effects.  Also, it is encouraged that more individuals do so in order to put an end to global hunger.

The pertinent question is how to reduce poverty and hunger.  Here are the following steps:

  • Create awareness
  • Emphasis on proper Sanitation and Clean Water.
  • Education
  • Self-volunteer
  • Donate
  • Should be gender equality
  • Create jobs

The main motto is that all human beings should have access to the resources needed to live a healthy life and the world would be a much happier and more productive place to live in.

Is there really a God

The obvious question is God there?  Well, some do agree while others may not!  There may be differences of opinion.  During the journey of life, one can realize the essence of God.  You may not speak but your inner feeling avers somewhere God is there.

Though we worship God there is an unexplained natural phenomenon that attracts humans.  We are in the midst of something, still unable to solve the mystery of natural phenomena i.e. supreme power of God.

As human beings, we think are on top of the world and everything is in our control, but you can wonder, we can control the microclimate as per our own needs and comfort. Read art of living: https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/art%20of%20living

As you can see wise humans started idolizing the natural phenomena as God and Goddess! It has a dual purpose of solving. First, we have a figurative image in front of us to worship, and secondly [which is very important also] now we have fear. Fear for Gods, fear for life and death, fear not to do any sinful acts or we get punished by Gods! And it worked very well.  Since our childhood, it has been imbibed that good thing start associated with God and bad things with Evil.

https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/God%20Exists

Human nature is tricky, moreover, it becomes the business.  Our minds are so dependent on God that if anything happens against our wish, we start blaming fate and if anything happens as per our wish, all credit goes to God!

Our journey should be the true meaning of God!  For us, the physical appearance of God is far superior to what we are. God is just a form to believe in and worship; someone we fear for, and who inspires us to do good deeds in life.

What is the concept of God?  God has no form, No name, No religion.  God is one.  Worship idol means just to keep your mind calm, inspire you to do good things and motivate you.  One can get a source of happiness by way of feeding the needy person/help any creature on earth who is in need.

Whilst we are talking about existence of the God, many believers today have been led by the scientific community to believe that the existence of God cannot be proven.  They need “proof” of the state of being real!

God's is the East and the West; and wherever you turn, there is God's countenance. (The Quran, 2:115)

https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/God%20Exists

A lot of arguments are taking place about whether God exists.  The arguments can be presented in:

  • Logical Argument
  • The Moral Argument
  • The Emotional Argument

Logical Argument

  1. The Universe exists
  2. Did the universe have [beginning or no beginning]
  3. Was the beginning [caused or not caused]
  4. Kind of force caused the universe [thinking force or non-thinking force]

It is proved that the universe has a beginning, but they are sufficient for any person who respects the laws of science, logic and common sense.

If you think without God, all of our most basic concepts of good, i.e. caring for the elderly, feeding the hungry, protecting children, and providing treatment to those who are ill, are just relative ideas that can change with the circumstances and individual choice.

Moral Argument

If you are not an atheist [do not have to accept the actions] then it is a fact that the concepts of right and wrong are valid concepts that exist. It is also a fact that at least some of these concepts exist absolutely, i.e. some things are right (or wrong) under any circumstances. If you agree with both of these statements, then you must believe in God because God is the necessary implication of the existence of any absolute moral standard.

Emotional Argument

As a firm believer in God, live a good life, have happiness, have good people as friends, have a purpose in my life, am confident and full of hope, anxiously awaiting the afterlife of comfort and blessings. God, himself, will wipe away every tear from my eyes, there will be no more pain, crying, mourning or death. A state of bliss forever and forever.

The evidence just proves what Paul said in Romans 1:20 “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.  Read importance of women:  https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/Importance%20of%20Indian%20Women

God offers you hope, confidence, purpose in your life, peace of mind, and freedom from guilt. He offers all  things in this life.

Mlodinow notes, “Many people intuitively believe in a higher power, and draw solace, strength, and courage from that belief. When faith feels real to a person, and when that particular belief does not conflict with what we observe in the physical world, there is nothing science says to oppose it

The obvious question comes “Who created God?”  The simple answer is Nobody created God. God has always been.  In God’s dealings with man, He will always follow certain principles of fairness, requiring individuals to be responsible for their actions and imposing punishment with relative severity.

As Gita and Bible, aver “each person should accept the responsibility for his or her actions is as widespread as the desire to be treated fairly.”  This is universal.  God will see to it that each individual accepts the responsibility and the consequences of his actions.

The Bible teaches this principle in both the Old Testament and the New Testament and how God will respect this principle in all His dealings with mankind.  He used His prophets during the entire time of human existence to tell the people how to live to be happy in this life.  The same prophets warned of disaster for disobedience.

Prayer is a strong sense of attachment.  We can talk to God anytime for as long as we want. He is always there for us. Not only will He listen, but He will also answer. This idea is so important we must read, believe, and meditate on the following scriptures.

Both Christ and the Holy Spirit are our advocates, pleading our case before the Father, asking for God’s blessing to help us in this life, and correcting the imperfections in our prayers. All of this makes up the difference between what we should be and what we are.

We cannot make violation of God by making sin.  All sin deserves death.  Yet we keep on sinning, every hour, every day and sometimes more often. We all know the “big” sins like drunkenness, adultery, lying, stealing, and murder.  Our free will allows us to decide not to sin, but we fail Often.  If this is continuing like this, we are not making justice to God, who loves us enough to forgive us of each and every sin!

Interestingly, scientists also agree that there is design in the universe. And they seek to express this design through their equations – through the laws of physics. But they recognize that the reasons why nature follows laws and why specific laws exist are mysteries that need yet to be solved.  Conclusion

There is a bit of caution. While we are immersed in God, do not follow blindly. Humans fear God a lot and some people simply take advantage of this and play with your mind because they know your weak point.  Stop wasting time behind such things, just think from the beginning and think of yourself, have you lost your mind? Inner realization and inner perspective are the core points.

In the quest for God people are fighting for their Gods, everyone is trying to prove their God as true God. The true meaning of God has been lost! God means to unite, God means to spread happiness, God means to help everyone and everything on planet earth and God means to inspire us. Read power of Meditation: https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/Meditation

The laws of nature, in both the physical and metaphysical worlds, belong to God.

As human beings, we cannot make the world of “sin, sickness and sorrow” the journey of God transform us from the physical body to the spiritual body, the spiritual attainment.  The Divine can only be experienced by an internal spiritual journey.  God’s love helps to guide us in this life and reward us in the next.

How to report human waste

Do you know littering will result in pollution of the environment as an environmental issue? Household wastes, littering of papers, plastics and bottles are the major environmental issue common in every part of the city. As human beings, we should stop this menace. Also read Climate Change:https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/Climate%20Change

One cannot ignore over the years the issue of littering growing most parts of the area is heavily littered and illegal waste dumping is an absolute issue.

The pertinent question is that how these issues can be solved remains the responsibility of the community members and to some extent, a dutiful citizen can take an initiative to address one of these environmental problems. Now, it is high time humans see how to reduce waste and pollution which is a major concern for the environment.

The environmental and health effects of littering can be severe if they are not addressed. The first and foremost step is planning and implementing that plan towards fixing this issue.  The prime responsibilities are -- government, agencies, community and an individual too.

Population growth is one of the problems and the issue of littering and illegal dumping has been growing. The immediate focus should be on the semi-rural area to dispose of the heap of garbage.  Recycling is a potent factor to do away with littering and should be educated among the community about recycling hubs. The main aim is to restore a healthy environment. They should know the importance of recycling and proper ways to dispose of household waste.

No doubt, this is an environmental problem which needs to carry out a scientific approach.

Dumping is illegal under World Trade Organization [WTO].

Under Article VI of GATT 1994, and the Anti-Dumping Agreement, WTO Members can impose anti-dumping measures, if, after investigation in accordance with the Agreement, a determination is made (a) that dumping is occurring, (b) that the domestic industry producing the like product in the importing country is suffering.

Importance of recycling

It must be noted that in a general sense recycling uses less energy and water and this results in the production of less pollution and minimal environmental degradation. Reusing some of the waste material can also be seen as an efficient idea in terms of reducing littering and to larger extent pollution. It has certain implications for social and economic conditions.

This is important in order to find out the nature of the problem and the evaluation of the possible suggested solutions to solve the issue. Once this is done the proposed actions can therefore be applied.

First and foremost, the thing can bring change in his/her capacity. The concerned authority, stakeholders, volunteers as well as community involvement should come into fore. Scientifically the steps involved in making an environmental decision and solving the problems involve the identification of an environmental problem, gathering the scientific information, proposal of one or more solutions and weighing the proposed advantages and disadvantages. We should not forget the key area will be the focus on recycling as one of the ways of dealing with waste in general.

The mission and vision should be clear. The motto should be we recycle because we care for our community.

Ill-effects of Littering

Environmental problem

  • Illegal dumping which all have major effects which could result in pollution and serious health issues for both people and the environment.
  • Leads to bacteria that are harmful to the health of many lives
  • An awareness program should be drawn out to empower the community by demonstrating  recycling, reusing and reduction of our everyday waste. Create safe, public-friendly waste disposal options and advertise them. It is also suggested that in every centre there should be a recycling hub and environmental education should be imbibed among children and the community as well.

Community the importance and benefits of recycling

Perceptibly government, authorities and stakeholders will do their duty. But the community should play an active role. As follows:

  • community involvement restored a clean and healthy environment
  • garbage is properly disposed of. Make use of bins properly
  • recycle all that can be recycled and also make sure that some of the garbage that cannot be recycled is also properly disposed
  • important in making sure everyone is accountable for their actions when it comes to littering. If one sees a friend dropping litter down, they must ask them nicely to pick it up and put it in a proper bin
  • encourages people to be responsible citizens, for example picking up litter if they come across some

These action plans should come into reality and emphasis be given to environmental education workshops among the youth.

Perceptibly, this action plan will promote creative and active citizens while promoting and educating the community on the importance and benefits of recycling.

In this endeavour, the government will certainly take the initiative and also relevant authorities, different organizations and volunteers are coming hand to hand.  This is a bit challenging but soon we will get benefit from recycling to restore a clean and healthy environment.

The essence of understanding is how to balance the importance of the natural world and the social of the people who are concerned to preserve the environment.

This is a blessing to act, and individuals can bring change to the world as responsible and active citizens.  Whilst to improve the environmental work, one is slowly and gradually akin to home, work and community and eventually this environmental responsibility will influence and extend to the national level.

Since most of the environmental issues faced by mankind and the environment are mostly connected, it is therefore important that people are told about the serious environmental and health issues that could be faced. Concepts like sustainable development must constantly be seen as solutions to most of our environmental issues.

The reusing of resources more than once can also be seen as a solution to littering seen  everywhere. Plastic bags are the most littered material in this community, since plastic bags are produced in large numbers their design causes them to be always thrown away.

It must also be noted that since plastics are durable and cheap this causes a high environmental price in terms of pollution. Even though plastics are a major problem everywhere in the world since they are not biodegradable, they can still be recycled or reused more than once. If their uses are controlled this could result in a clean and safe environment. With regards to these plastics once they are overused recycling will be their final destination.

The principle of RS --- Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

According to Miller and Spoolman “This environmental worldview states that we should manage the earth for our benefit but also we as humans have an ethical responsibility to be caring and responsible managers or stewards of our earth.”

We as humans are dependent on the natural world therefore, we need to possess environmental ethics of what is right and wrong.

Poor waste management contributes to climate change and air pollution and directly affects many ecosystems and species. Read global health: https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/Covid19-Global%20Health

Conclusion

In most cases, some of this littered waste can be recycled or reused. As an active citizen self-reflection is needed rather than complaining about this environmental issue. It is the need of the hour the government and other supporting agencies should come up with a concrete plan and list of actions how to address pollution of waste in the form of littering and to some degree illegal dumping of household waste.

It is sad to see that most of these areas are increasingly threatened by littering and illegal dumping. If these issues are not addressed could cause even economic issues for example the decline of tourism likely to be caused by littering and illegal waste disposal.

The environmental issue is the main concern, and if it can be properly addressed, it will certainly add value to the lives of many and promote health and a clean viable environment.
