First amputee conquering highest peak in Russia

It is often found that people are glued to the news of celebrity whatever they are in the fields may be.  They are really amazed by their fascinated journey and try to inculcate them in daily life.   In that midst, we tend to ignore the unsung heroes or realistic stories of a common man, who makes proud the society or the nation by dint of hard work.  Moreover, they do not receive the mainstream coverage, as they should be.

It also gives a strong introspection for the younger generation, whom to choose as a celebrity. Shekar Goud from Hyderabad makes us the country proud by climbing the Mount Kilimanjaro (19,341 feet), the highest peak in African continent.   No doubt, he conquered the peak, but the most appealing part is that he is the first triple amputee, who have achieved this feat!

What a scornful journey he may have.  He was an amputee at the age of eighteen years due to electrocution but did not stop him to dream big and coming out with tragic moments which otherwise can be a huge impact on his mind!

In a society, where we live, often distress, and keep grumbling for every small and trivial issue.  We get depressed or sometimes take a grave step like suicide if we lose even materialistic things.  If we see on the other side of this young man Shekar Goud, he becomes a hero, a real champion even after he has been amputated.  A lot to be learned from this young man.  one can achieve one’s dream and everything is a reality if you have that determination, confidence and self-belief.

Sometimes does the question arise, if you are disabled, still can you live like a normal person?  After becoming disabled, many people attempt suicides because they think their life has ended there, which is a sheer ignorance.

Sekhar Goud proves them wrong that there is nothing one cannot achieve under the sun in spite of having a disability.  Really unbelievable and how he overcome and cut down all the obstacles in life and has succeeded.  Salute to his courage, spirit and consistency.

In August this year, Sekhar Goud, conquered the feat of Mount Elbrus, which is the highest peak in Russia.  He became the first Indian triple amputee to scale Mount Elburus.   Besides, he is also a para- badminton player and marathon runner.

Determination has no limit.  This is an example of self-belief.  No doubt, Sekhar is an inspiration to a lot of youngsters in India.  A positive thinker and a great motivator.  He soon realized that being an amputee does not have to stop him from chasing the passion or dreams.  He boosted confidence and firmly believe that he could do everything that a person without a disability also does.

He has many plans lined up for the future and working on making them a reality.  Trekking gives him immense pleasure and excitement.   His biggest goal is to trek to the topmost part of Mount Everest.  He also aims to conquer all the highest peaks of seven continents, besides all the death zone peaks in the world.  Wish him all the success and he may achieve the best in his life.

His tag line is Nothing is impossible!  He is firmly believed that an amputee can live like a normal person and to empowering people like that he is working on this endeavour.  One can contact Sekhar Goud at +91 98665-43730.

He is looking forward starting an NGO and for this, he needs sufficient funds, which he is working towards it.   He is of the opinion and strongly believes that an amputee must know life is beautiful, and they must not give up.
