Sometimes to plan a holiday a bit confused about where to travel. One can look out for the list of places while visit in India with family.
India
is a rich culture of its own and all these places have something or the other
to do for every kind of family. No
doubt, you can take some of the priceless memories to treasure for a lifetime.
Known as God’s own country. A land of coconut trees. Beaches and backwaters give romantic views. Visiting Kerala certainly prove to be a relaxing and rejuvenating trip especially for families.

- Koyalam beaches
- Backwater of Alleppey
- Munnar hill station
- Wayanad for natural resource
A piece of advice: Avail the benefits of Ayurveda centres that are approved only by the Ministry of Tourism.

2. Kashmir
Known as a Heaven on Earth. It is also called as mini-Switzerland and attract tourists from all over the world. Scenic beauty makes this paradise on earth.

- Gulmarg for skiing
- Srinagar for houseboats
- Pahalgam for Baisaran valley
A piece of advice: If one is interested in skiing classes can join at Ski Institute.

to visit: In spring, April – June & In winter, December – March for Skiing
would be the best time.
3. Andaman
and Nicobar Islands
Known
for its exotic islands. Earlier it was
known for ‘kaalapani’ now it is a popular tourist destination. White sandy beaches and active volcano make
this trip more adventurous.
Places to visit:
- Andaman water sports complex for seawater swimming
- Havelock Islands for Scuba Diving
- Cellular Jail for the light and sound show
A piece of advice: Should avoid high tribal density since the majority of tribes resides here.
Time
to visit: Mid November to April is the best time.
4. Himachal Pradesh
Well-known for its serenely adventurous. One can enjoy river rafting to trekking expeditions. Infuse yourself in the mild sunlight and breathe the fresh air. It is an apt choice for a traveller with kids.

- Shimla for the scenic beauty
- Kufri for Yak rides
- McLeodganj for trekking trails
- Solang Valley for adventure sports
A piece of advice: Elderly and children below 10 years should be avoided trekking trips. Woollen clothes are required due to the low temperature at Rohtang Pass.

5. Coorg, Ooty, Kodaikanal
Known as Kashmir of South. The perfect destination for a relaxing holiday. It is a paradise destination encompassing lush green hills, dense forests, beautiful rivers and lakes and amazing weather.

- Raja’s seat for a gorgeous sunset view
- Coorg’s most popular waterfalls – Abbey Falls
- Lake Garden by for the fibreglass dome

piece of advice: Woollen clothes are a must since the temperature can drop
below 8 degrees.

6. Haridwar
And Rishikesh
A spiritual land. one of the holiest cities of India and people believe bathe in the Ganges, wash your sins away. You can enjoy the swaying Laxman Jhula with kids and to venture adventure one can go to Rishikesh.

- Mansa Devi temple in Haridwar
- Laxman Jhula – the swaying bridge
- Rishikesh for adventure sports
- Har-ki-Pauri Ghat for the evening Maha Aarti
A piece of advice: You must maintain a strict vegetarian diet. Non-vegetarian foods and alcohols are not available in the holy city.

7. Rajasthan
The
Royal land. It offers a chance to
explore the vast deserts, glimpses into the wildlife and the beautiful Havelis
of Jodhpur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh and Jaipur.

- Udaipur for its royalty
- Jaipur for exquisite handicrafts
- Chittorgarh for the treasure trove of Rajputana history
- Jodhpur for Mehrangarh Fort
A piece of advice: Have to select the locations as per your choice since the train makes a trip to Khajuraho Temples, Madhya Pradesh.

8. Nainital
And Jim Corbett National Park
Known
for its nature and wildlife. Naini lake
is believed to be found by Tri-Rishi and it was explored by the Britishers as a
holiday spot. Nainital is located about
three hours. Jim Corbett is a popular
wildlife resort. More than 70,000 tourists visit the national park all-round
the year.

- Govind Ballabh Pant Zoo for Siberian tiger, wolves, hill fox and more
- Naini lake for a peaceful boat ride

9. North-East

to explore the unexplored. You can
experience the tranquil hills away from the hustle and bustle. A trip to the northeast invites you to the tea estates of Darjeeling.

11. Mumbai

of dreams. It is the home to most Bollywood
celebrities. Places near Mumbai attracts
tourists.

- Gateway of India for the view of the majestic Taj, by the sea and ferry rides
- Siddhi Vinayak Mandir to witness the religious madness of the city toward Lord Ganesha
- Bandra for a great street shopping experience
- Juhu for its choupati consisting of tapris serving lip-smacking chaats, pani puri or pav bhaji.
A piece of advice: Try to avoid visit Mumbai in the summer. You may not enjoy much due to high humidity levels.

12. Banaras

13. Delhi
One can experience the phenomenal monuments to unique restaurants. Bustling bazaars of old Delhi to the street food at Chandni Chowk. It has iconic historical sites to visit, including India Gate, Red Fort and Qutab Minar. Delhi has something for every traveller.

- Connaught Place for amazing food
- India Gate as a tribute to the country

- Janpath or Sarojini Market for bulk shopping
A piece of advice: It is better to book a Delhi Darshan trip for a comfortable sightseeing tour.
