Bravery reckons physical strength - A Misconception

Bravery and physical strength are two separate entities.  Bravery showers mental or moral strength under any dangerous situation or fear or difficulty.  It is the state of being brave whereas physical strength is the ability of the person to have apply force on physical objects by using its muscle.

Bravery comes inner-self, it is an inner spirit which enables you to face the pain or danger without showing any glitch of fear.  In general, you can see everything is normal in a daily routine and can understand and interpret but bravery seems to be most difficult to comprehend.  You cannot test it unless you face it!

To stand up against what you think is right/wrong and for that you need that strength is what bravery.  It comes with inner bravery and have the ability to follow and flow with convictions regardless of public views and its consequences.  It encompasses with risk, uncertainty and danger.  Yes, bravery acts as a courage also.

There is a fallacy that brave seems to be without fear.  Being brave and being fearless are absolutely two separate things.  In order to overcome fear people do adventurous things like – river crafting, skydive, public speaking, etc.   While bravery is a spur of the moment, emotions that are coming up, leaves little time to think actions and consequences through.

While snap on bravery, we can find person possess chiefly physical and mental bravery.  Physical bravery is all about discoveries and laborious work and there is a certain amount of risk involved.  Like rocket manufacturing, discover planets of the universe, launching satellites, facing an enemy on the battlefield, a child protecting from dangerous animal, etc.

Moral or mental bravery is ingrained in man only.  It facilitates man to select right or wrong and to act upon his/her will.   https://rinkudas919.blogspot.com/search/label/World%20Skating

Moral bravery is the uttermost important and a rare virtue you can find. By the dint of moral bravery, one has to select the right path, which may be opposite to the public views/opinions and thus he/she has to face many unrests because of the right path that he/she has selected. The journey is too long and tedious process for upliftment of the society.

If we do talk about these braveries [physical/moral] and which is the most admirable, moral behaviour is the far superior.  It enforces a man to do right under all occurrences.  No doubt one has to face a lot of criticism and many people do oppose but one should never bows to it and continue to fight for the development of the nation.

Mainly the moral bravery aimed for reforms – a reform for social, betterment of the society, nation and the world at large.  To attain social reforms he/she has to face severe criticism and tough oppositions because of the right path or path of truth that he/she chooses to achieve the goal of life.

Truth is a bitter experience and the moral bravery has that edge.  Whether one is accepting or not it is the prophets, saints and social reformers, who are/were the targets of attack coming from across the globe for having told the truth.  Their main aim is veracity must prevail.

Their determination, courage, deeds of work enshrine their great personalities.  In principle, they are the beacon of light for bringing social reforms to the country.  The world has/had produced and witnessed great saints, prophets and reformers.  The lists are quite big but to name a few:

§  Jesus Christ [a rare moral courage to lead the path of truth]
§  Mahatma Gandhi [Non-violence - stood against British Empire]
§  Subhash Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh [great martyrs laid lives for the independence]
§  Nelson Mandela [First Black President of South Africa]
§  Tipu Sultan [great martyr
§  Martin Luther King Jr. [Civil Rights Movement]

They are the glaring examples of braveness.  Though they are not so muscular to prove their braveries, it is the inner spirit and selflessness that counts.  You need not physically strength to be brave.

Now-a-days, people tend to be more focussed on physical strength and they groom their body to add personality, which is a good sign but to do for the nation or to bring social reforms for the sake of the country the bravery should be counted on.  Otherwise, we cannot produce such type of people or even cannot think of who with the spirit of bravery made a mark and today we are still remembered them as a true hero.  Bravery with physical strength is a good combo but void of bravery we are nowhere.

Thus, one can deciphers criticality of bravery and how it can transform.  As a human, bravery is necessary to work together in tandem and for the world to bring a positive change and grow.

As the word goes, Laurell K Hamilton rightly said “Being brave is ignoring fear for a moment and carrying on.”
